Individual Coaching
Most important results
- Knowing and developing strengths (strengths and motivation)
- Freedom from beliefs that limit the full use of one’s own potential
- Building empowering beliefs for the collaborator and channel them towards the organization
- Having tools to manage your own challenges and those of the organization
- Increase clarity and motivation towards the desired career
The process
In my experience, six is the most effective number of sessions.
In fact, four meetings could be too few for a real and lasting change and 10 could be too many and risk diluting the results.
For the same reasons I suggest a month between each meeting.
Between one session and the next, the coachee must have time to metabolize what he/she learnt and implement new actions, keeping alive the motivation for change.
The total duration of each session is 1 hour.
We will schedule meetings with the sponsor (Manager or HR specialist) at the beginning, middle and end to monitor the results achieved.
To facilitate the self-monitoring process, the coach provides a special card built on the contents of the session.
Team Coaching
Most important results
- Being aware of recurring patterns (ways of thinking, emotional dynamics, ways of acting) so to change them
- Being accompanied during the change process to get what the team wants
- Greater trust among all team members
- Improvement of communication style and relationships
- Greater engagement of all team members
- Reducing dysfunctional attitudes and enhancing functional attitudes
The process
I recommend 4 sessions of 3 hours each, every 15 days.
Between sessions, the team will have some actions to do, agreed during the previous session.
To facilitate monitoring, the coach will share a report containing the results achieved, what has been learnt and the shared action plan.
Method
Coaching is a method of facilitation, through which the coach facilitates the client (coachee) in becoming aware of his/her own resources and taking action to get what he/she wants.
Although coaching, as we know it today, has Anglo-Saxon origins, its deepest roots are in Socrates’ philosophy. He compared himself to a midwife, who helped the woman give birth to her child. Thus the philosopher helps others to generate knowledge about themselves, the others and the reality that surrounds us.
